Yea, that was my thought. Did they report that the Otter was rabid? I would assume it had to be. Won't he have to go though a series of shots are a precautionary treatment? That won't be fun.

I'll be at the fort Sunday and if an Otter so much as looks at me wrong, I'll be having beer can Otter for dinner.

As a youngster,I realized that cats liked fish, I thus decided that the neighbors cat and I could be fish'n partners.
Just to let you know, cats do not like hav'n rope tied to their hind leg,,,,nor do they like being tossed in the middle of a pond,,,
and he wouldn't even TRY to get a fish !!
Thats when I figured I'd have to catch my own fish.

My advise is to befriend (or is that befiend) the otters at FtW. They are highly trained for beer reconnaissance and procuring food from unguarded grills and crockpots. If you align yourself with the otters you will have earned their undying devotion to protect you from the unscrupulous peacock attacks. Your campsite will be under constant surveillance to insure that no beer or food is taken from your cooler(s). If the otters really get to love you, you will find beer has actually been added to your cooler.

The otters obey my every command. I can persuade them to be your friend or your enemy. Never diss the otters!

Well, in that case, I bow to the mighty otter god, des1954. With that said, mine is the silver cooler with all the stickers on it. Oh, and in addition to beer, a nice Chardonnay would be appreciated with my preference being Napa or Sonoma.

My FIL is 72 and up every morning at 4 a.m. It wouldn't surprise me if he was out walking around the neighborhood at that hour. He goes to bed at 9 p.m. and would prefer to get work done early when its cool out (also lives in FL).

But as the for the otter - - I agree that the thing was sick. At least they have him and he can be tested for rabies.
