Otterpop's DISign thread - Autograph Cards and Epcot Passports

doing a 3D image is the one thing I want to do. I can do 3D letters, but not images. I have to learn photo shop. However, there aren't enough hours in the day and you can't teach an old dog new tricks. You know, maybe I can learn how to do just one thing in there, save it as a jpg, then gif it in Photo Impact soooooooo, how did you do it or where did you find directions. :worship: I am so in awe. (and jealous :scared1:) Thanks, Penny

I love that 3D image, it will look spectacular as a part of the passport. I'm happy, happy, happy that our trip is in the fall and I can wait until the summer project is finished :cool1:. One of the things I love in your current passport are the translations, it helps a lot to see the words on paper. I hope you'll keep that. Looking forward to savoring more of your creativity! Thanks for what you do to make our trips even more special.

Hi There!! Love your Passport disigns. I am going to be putting together the Drink around the World passport that natalie disigned, but it's cover page still says 2010. Would you be able to disign a cover page for me? Our names are Seth & Lysa, and anything simple would be fine. If you are unable to do that, I completely understand! Thanks!

I wouldn't consider myself inept with the computer, but the images from the Photobucket album are coming as low res when I upload them to Shutterfly. I know I saved them wrong. Anyone have input? TIA

The new passport is almost ready (a few more weeks, but samples will be posted in the next few days). But her is a small side project by request. These are "divider" pages in the style of another DISigner (don't know who though, so I can't give credit where credit is due!).

Sorry for the delay...here is where I am at with the new Passport. It is completed, but...it was designed to be printed by artscow using there new deluxe photobook option. Whats nice about this deluxe version is that it allows you to take one picture and span it across two pages for "seamless spreading", as they call it. With that in mind, I designed the new passport to take advantage of this feature, so the images are 5x14 in size (so that when you span it across two pages, they are 5x7). But what I just realized is that the deluxe photobook only allows you to print 20 total pages (that's only 10 of the 11 countries w/o any misc passport pages; obviously that won't work!). I have contacted artscow about this to see if they will be offering additional pages for these photobooks in the near future.

So where things stand right now is that I am just starting to try and convert the passport into individual 5x7 images so you can get them printed anywhere.

So, without further ado, here are the front and back covers of the passport to give you a "teaser" of the overall look of the passport. As I convert more of the passport pages into the 5x7 size, I will post them (it will probably be another week or two).

love it! love it! love it!! every time i think i'm done, you come up with something that i HAVE to have:rotfl:!!! i'm so glad we're not leaving till september - i can't wait to see this one!!! i may have to incorporate the 4x6 id pages you made me into this new passport DISign somehow:rotfl2:!!! did i mention you're so awesome?!!!!:worship:

will you have a personalized ID page to match this? I just downloaded the old passport with these 2 pages as the front and back (I liked the fact that it said 2011 on it). We are going the end of August for free dining - I guess I will have to use shutterfly to make it to make sure I get it in time :) I will PM you with my info and pics of the kids. Thanks!
