Ott-Lites $29 at Js (online) with FS - good deal? Reviews?

Got an email this morning from Jo's - I've been looking at these lamps lately and this seems like a good deal, especially with the free shipping.

I know I don't NEED one (or two!), since our scrap area is already lit like an operating room. (But it does get hot working under the desk lamps and their light is kinda yellowish.) Does anyone have these and weigh in on good deal or not...? Thanks for your input!

I don't have one for scrapping (but may just have to get one!) but I used to be a nail tech and had one where I worked, they were awesome! Made it easier to see and the colors were so true, easier to pick nail polish! I think you should get it for sure! Sounds like a great deal.

I have had one for a few years and I LOVE it. I even take it along on vacation and on crops where I don't know how good the light will be. It has held up VERY well. After several years and MANY hours of use, plus being packed up and dragged out to places, it has never failed and I haven't replaced the bulb yet! I may have to look into getting a second one if they are on sale that cheaply! I say GO FOR IT! The colors are so much clearer and truer than with a regular lamp......................P
