Other Travel Podcasts?

I also enjoy AllEars.Net, which I mentioned above. I think one of the reasons there has not been a lot lately is that they were pushing out a lot around the holidays, and then their anniversary, then they probably took/needed a break. I can also confirm that although brief, I had several e-mail contact with Deb many years ago, and she was kind and gracious.

I also wanted to mention as an aside that although I'm new to Big Fat Panda, and it appears he only out full shows monthly, he did mention Pete would be a guest on this next show! Have no idea when that will be, but if you go to YouTube and subscribe you won't miss it, and hopefully Pete will announce something through either social media, or on the weekly show!! :)
Oh! Thanks for that information! I subscribed to Panda but haven't watched many of his shows. May try a few now!

I second the PP re Rick Steves podcasts. High quality. Also, this Sat he has a day long event on his website called test driving European tour guides. I've caught a few segments of this in past yrs and it is great if there is a specific country/region you are interested in.

I also enjoy Tom Bricker's website disneytouristblog. In particular, his WDW restaurant reviews are informative. Not necessarily funny or entertaining but informative. Cheers!

I have enjoyed watching Rick Steves travel shows on PBS over the years. Don't know if I could travel anywhere near as light as him though! :)

WDW Today used to be a must listen to, but I'm kinda struggling with the newbies. The unofficial guide's Disney dish with Jim Hill is good, and I love Lou Mongello, though I concur he does wear rose tinted glasses. The Disney Movie Review is decent, and their interviews with Lou and Pete were really good. I am a relatively new listener, and learned a lot about Pete in that one. I also listen to Be Our Guest...

Non Disney... Katie dot Show (tech stuff), and The Nerdist. oh, and a bunch of UK football ones and about 7 wrestling ones, but I can't imagine you care about that...

In addition to the above, although not podcasts, I enjoy Josh's easywdw site & blog. He has a dry wit (dare I say sardonic?) which I enjoy. I appreciate that one must be born clever to ring that kind of writing bell. And that man was definitely born clever. :-) Don't miss the comments section below his blog entries. His followers are funny as all get out. I think he is also on the Boards from time to time. He has handy crowd calendars and detailed touring strategies for each park that some swear by.

Another site, Touring plans, has a neat feature that shows you views from your resort hotel room. While actually getting the specific room that you want is a trick in itself (and rarely happens IMO), its fun to pick a resort and then "look out the window" from any number of rooms to see what's in the frame.

I miss Inside the Magic. Ricky was very good. I guess he got burned out. He rarely puts out shows, and then, they are pretty much recordings of some kind of Disney event.

I really like Len Testa and Jim Hill. I love the insight they give. Be Our Guest Mike is pretty good. He does a lot of running stuff. I'm not a runner, so I don't listen to those.

I'm enjoying the Dreams Unlimited shows.

Royal Caribbean Blog is good. It's Matt from the old WDW Today. He focuses on Royal Caribbean cruises.

I'm a big Outlander fan. I listen to a few different Outlander podcasts.
