Other Thrill Rides...before Convention

I was wondering if anyone who will be getting there a few days before the convention would be willing to do a Thrill Rides meet at IOA, and/or the 300 Ft. Skycoaster on 192

i have done both and would love to do them again. And it is worth the price of Admission to IOA just for the Spiderman Adventure.

I would love to do IOA, but unfortunately I arrive the afternoon before the convention starts which isn't really enough time. I'm staying a few days after, however.

The guide books would have you believe that the Spiderman ride alone is worth the price of admission to IOA, but with ticket prices running around $50.00, I tend to disagree. Spiderman is an amazing ride to be sure, full of surprises and wonderful technology, but IMHO, it is not worth the price of admission alone. The rollercoasters at IOA are state-of-the-art, Poseidon's Adventure is wonderful (and I think has been rehabbed), and the whole Jurrasic Park island is a lot of fun.

Just my opinion, of course.

What would the crods be like at IOA that time of year? Me and my girls might consider it, but gotta check the budget and time.

We will be arriving on 11/24, and plan to do IOA on Mon or Tues. We are major coaster enthusiasts so we will be hitting all the big ones, especially Spiderman! We would love to meet up with you and anyone else who wants to join in. I was tentatively planning IOA for Mon. 11/26. How does that sound to you?
