We will be visiting Universal for 2 days, 1 day at the beach, 1 day hanging at the resort...possibly 1 day at Acquatica. Now...what would be the next thing to add to the agenda with a 17, 13, and 12 year old girls???? We are there for 8 nights in August.

Go see Yehaa Bob at POR, horseback riding or defeat tour at Firt Wilderness, Para Sailing, golf or mini golf, canoeing, fishing, resort hopping, outdoor movie and smores at the Fort, animal viewing at AKL,Making a remote control car at DTD, party at old Pleasure island hope that helps!!

Do they like shopping? There are at least two outlet malls near Universal. For a high-end traditional mall, there is the Mall at Millenia.

You can walk around Downtown Disney and go to the movies there. You can eat dinner at one of the restaurants at the Boardwalk and walk around that area.

One thing about theme park tickets, you get a lot more value by adding days. For example, if you add Seaworld to Aquatica, you can go to both parks as much as you want for your entire vacation.

Thanks for the Seaworld tip Upatnoon. We're going in Nov. and that's great to know.

They might like Disney Quest on the Westside of DTD.

the coolest thing we did (besides the parks) was an airtour with Mauiva aerial tours. We went up in one of the little planes and we got an overhead view of the area. They're not allowed to fly directly over the parks but can fly around them so we were able to see the castle at MK, the big Mickey hat at HS, the forest trees shaped like a Mickey head and so on. It was cheaper than the helicopter tours and lasted longer as well. The best part? for $20.00 bucks more one person is able to upgrade to sit beside the pilot and help fly the plane. We paid to have DS10 do it, and it was the highlight of his trip.
I think it cost about $100 a person, HOWEVER when booking you can give them a discount code of "FLDL11160" and they take $10.00 off per person.

I put the experience in the same category as Discovery Cove - a bit pricey but well worth the money for the experience. One of those things you've got to do at least once in your life :)
