So my fellow Solo Disers, winter is coming and I have decided that I am going to learn to snowboard this year. Every year, I try to learn some new activity and travel someplace new solo so that I can chronicle all of my adventures in my yet to be written biography.

Just made me think, what are other people's solo non-Disney adventures?

Oh yeah, if anyone wants to learn with me. I am going to Ski Liberty in PA.

I've had lots of solo adventures - taken trips to Guatemala, Jamaica, Key West - wherever I can get away to!

Hubs has to work - and he's never minded that I take adventures on my own. I think it makes us appreciate each other all the more when I get back home!

Hey there Kim. I am planning a solo trip to London around the End of May, start of June. Want to miss the bad weather and not get caught up in the warmer weather. Meeting my friends Clare and Graeme while there. Gotta get cracking on the planning.

Wow! This thread made me realize that except for Disney, I've never done anything solo. Been to WDW at least a dozen times solo, even went to DL solo (and the first time there). Yet, I've never gone anywhere else solo.

You are going to love it there. I did a solo there for my birthday last year. It was so much fun. I did the touristy tea at the Ritz. It was the chocolate tea so really good chocolate treats and traditional English tea.

I also got the London Pass which had a 6 day tube pass and entrance into about 70 activities included in the price. PM if you want more info.

PM being sent.

Let's see, for me, been to Washington DC and Las Vegas solo a few times. Most of my solo trips have been to DLR or WDW though. Just can't get away from Mickey and friends. :confused3

New adventure. I have convinced my job that March is a good time for me to be away for two weeks. So I am planning on spending that time going from Rome to London and using the trains to see parts of Europe.

Totally new for me because I usually pick a place and stay but I want to do this before life gets too hectic for me to plan this type of trip again.

Now I just have to get my packing down to one bag. Eeek.

I do lots of little things solo ...like going to concerts. I'm a massive Springsteen fan and most of my friends are not all that interested so I decided a few years ago that I would go when I wanted whether or not I had someone to go with me. I am going to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by myself this month. It's a bit of a drive from where I live but I've been wanting to go and my friends are all booked so away I go!
