So we just got back. I have a few comments about renting from Apple. We stayed at the Tropicana Inn and Suites and apparently this hotel does not allow them to come and just drop off the scooters, you have to be present for delivery and return. Not a big deal if you are at the hotel already but if not..yikes. My mom and dad both got one. Half way through our first Disney day my dads beep beep button malfunctioned and wouldn't shut up! So he drove it back to the hotel before the battery died and called them up. They came and exchanged it. The chargers were not the best. It could have been the hotel though as well so I can't be sure but the second and final day at the parks my moms showed it had half battery and then just died. She tried to charge it at the park but it wouldn't work. They called and said they had to go outside the park so they ended up at the Grand California. They did come fairly quick with a new scooter but after having to manually push it over to the hotel and waiting to get another one and then having to go back to the park was a hassle. Overall they were ok, they did come and fix the problems as soon as they could which was a plus but from now on I believe we will just use Deckertt. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for taking time to report your experience! I think we will go with Deckerts as well. I haven't read anything negative about them at all. I'm sorry you guys had some trouble but it sounds like you didn't let it ruin your trip. Glad you had fun!
