Other Parks to Epcot for Food and Wine

We are staying at Pop and will have a Minivan. We have a four and two year old that we would like to take back to Pop in the afternoon for a nap. We would also like to stop by the food and wine before the nap break on some days.

From MK, I'm thinking the best route is to use the Disney bus system to MK then use the monorail to Epcot. Then take the Bus back to Pop. I'm assuming this would be better than using the van.

From DHS, take the boat to International gateway and bus back. Unless this is terribly slow.

I'm guessing we would need to drive from AK.

Basically, if we plan on doing some park hopping I'm thinking leaving the minivan at Pop might be best to avoid going back to get the minivan? We will have a stroller.

We use our rental car to go everywhere in WDW, including the MK. You will find it much more convenient timewise rather than waiting for buses with two young children. Plus, you can have them seated properly in child safety seats.

That was my thought but since the buses pick you up near the gate of MK, I was thinking that might be faster.

Do you buses really run every 20 minutes or is more like hourly? I could see 20 minutes at park opening and closing. Also, do the buses go straight to/from each park or do they stop at each park?

Wanted to make sure you knew that there are no buses at the International Gateway. From there you would need to walk through Future World to get to the front of the park.

If it were me traveling with a little one, I'd go to a park in the am and then return to the hotel. Enjoy F&W after the nap. Moving between parks takes more time than you might guess and the F&W kiosks are back in World Showcase.

The park buses do run every 20 minutes last I knew.

Thanks, it's looking like we will need to do the F&W after an AM Epcot sessions and before a PM session.

That is an excellent plan. Have fun!
