Other Florida destinations - not WDW - for March Break

Any suggestions on other Florida destinations for March Break? We went last year to Orlando and it was just too busy during March Break. We've been to Disney in February and it is much better. Anyway, thinking of trying another place in Florida for March Break. Any ideas? Is Fort Lauderdale or Miami too wild with college spring breakers? What about the Florida Keys or the Bahamas? Looking for a family destination. Thanks.

We're off to Myrtle Beach (I know it is not in Florida but it's close). Found it to be a great family friendly place.

Key West is beautiful and full of sites to see. If you stay in the old part you can park the car for the week and walk everywhere. We love it there. It is very different from the rest of Florida. We have been there twice now and are planning at some point to go back.

We are cruising out of Miami for March Break--done this for the last two years. Going to Disney in October for food and wine festival. Haven't been to Disney for almost three years--had been every year before that for 11 years. We need our Disney-FIX soon--lol. We were at Disney for ten days during March Break a couple of years ago and it was busy.
