Other Diser's In Your Town

Doc lives not far from me, but we've never met. I keep trying to make it to one of the Chicago meets but it seems like something always comes up.

I have met lots of DISers at WDW though. Which is super cool!

I know of one person that lives in the same town as I do now. There is another person that lives in the next town over, where I grew up.

I only know of one DIS'er that lives near us. That's saying a lot, considering we are parked in the middle of nowhere. I am sure if we had a meet here, we'd attract lots of attendees.

No one is from my small town, but when I lived in Atlanta, I met Shan (lenshanem), who ended up living just a few miles down the road. We ended up meeting at WDW one weekend and still keep in touch!

I don't know whether any live in my town. It's awful small. But one lives a couple towns over from me, and another goes to the same school as me.

I have seen a few on the boards from Clifton Park, NY which is where I grew up and still like to think I live (in my heart anyway, and when I go home to mom & dad ). Didn't meet any in person, but did see a post from one who was there with me in line at our Target at 5am on Black Friday and also had a horrible experience

Haven't met any from Norfolk, VA (where I live now w/ DBF). Did meet one who had close family ties in Norfolk, but none who actually live here.

Maybe I should put my location on my profile!

I always wonder when I see someone that has their cars decked out in Disney or their house if that someone is on the boards.

My sister lives 4 minutes away from me but that's considered Clayton but Clayton and Smyrna are like fingers intertwined it's hard to tell when you leave Smyrna and go into Clayton and then go back into Smyrna. Does that count?

I know there are some others who live in Celebration who have posted here in the past - and one who will be moving here soon. But I've never met them in town. I think it's like having a secret identity!

But if they can find my front porch, they are welcome to introduce themselves.

I know one lives in the same village I do and a few others live in the town the village is located in. Kilee...we are all in Erie County, not all that far away.

I used to head down your way all the time in the summer to go to The Sunset Bay Beach Club....long ride home after drinking all night too!

I believe it is LuLubelle that lives the next town over to me in Moreno Valley and ChrisnSteph that lives down the freewaY from me near Temecula. I'm in Riverside.

Not only did I meet a Disser at my local park not too long ago, but another Disney board I used to read, I recogonized a poster from her pictures. I did go up to her~ and she thought I was whacko I had never registered or posted over ther but~still After that I did see Dan Murphy at Epcot but I did not approach him. The word has gotten out that he is rather shy

i met a ton of great people at the boston summer dis meet that dan attended and it was great
also i have met bicker, we live in the same town and ran into each other at the grocery store
he was very nice

I'd love to meet another DIS'er in the Bay Area, but I haven't heard of or seen any yet. So far my friends & in-laws out here just think I'm a bit weird and more than a little obsessed with Disney. DH calls y'all my "wacky on-line Disney friends"!

I haven't noticed anyone from my town, but recently a woman pointed out to me that she lives in a nearby town. Maybe 20 minutes away. Geez, that's almost enough time it takes to drive through our whole state !!

Hey I'm in Clifton Park NY.
My family had a mini meet with a dis/dvc family that lives about 15 miles from us last year before both families went on the DVC Member Cruise. Next weekend myself and my Dis friend will be having a mini meet with another dis'er and chat room host KarenNY, I can't wait!
