Other Diser's In Your Town

Has anyone come across other Dis members from your town that you didn't know where on here?

I know shortly after I joined I got a PM from a person from my town. Turns out they lived on the next street. We live in a pretty small town on top of it. Unfortunately, I lost the PM and never seen them post too much after that.

Other than that- I've seen a small amount from the next county over- but never again from my town or county.

Actually one lives just 2 streets over. However we didnt find that out on the dis--she no longer posts her--we discoverd it on another board.

I don't think anyone from the Disboards live where I live, however, I have seen a few who live in the Western Mass. area.

There are like 3 people who live in the same city as me (not sure how close we are to one another though!) and quite a few in surrounding communities.

I have found out that 2 people here on the DIS are from my town (one just today!) which is pretty amazing considering how small it is!!!

There are some from the metro area, but none that I am aware of from the particular subarb that I live in.

I know that there are few that live here. But I don't think they live on the same side of town.

I don't think I"ve ever run into Planogirl or KathyTX, but I know they live in the same general area as I do.

There are a couple on the same side of the cities as I am. One lives where I used to live. But I don't think I have seen any from my exact city...

I ran into one at my local park He frequents another board I belong to. Even gave him part of my lunch.

I've met one person who lives here, she came into the bakery where I work to get cupcakes for her dd's birthday. There are a few who live in the same state though, lol, that I've talked to quite a bit.

There are no other DISers in my town that I know of but there are several near or in Lansing which is pretty close to me.

Not in my town, but an hour away, we both live on the same highway that passes through our towns.

Sometimes when I post, I always wonder if someone recognizes me for some of the descriptive posts I post about my family.

Once I was going into Meijer and in the parking lot I saw a car with a green Mickey antenna topper on it. I womdered if it was a DISer. Had to be. But it was cold out and I wasn't about to stand out in the parking lot for who knows how long to meet this person who would probably freak out anyways thinking I was some sort of stalker.
