Other discounts or perks?

Other than general lodging associated with your annual points, are there any other discounts/ perks associated with becoming a DVC member?

I've recently seen postings about valet parking (I didn't know about that), or 25% of rack rates, subject to availability, at the villas if you pay cash (didn't know either). Are there other discounts or perks that come with membership?

Discount park passes? Golf? Tours? Other activities? Priority seatings or pool hopping?

The member's handbook and website has a huge listing of perks--too big to list here. But the general categories are:

Dining
Recreation
Tours
Walt Disney World Admission and More

pool hopping?

Pool hopping is a perk for BCV members most of the time. During busy holiday times it is not allowed and it is never allowed at SAB or the AKL pool.

Some of the discounts for meals are quite good. You normally get a listing of discounts when you check in. It is best to familiarize yourself with them before your trip from the web site to allow time for planning.

It's not a complete list of DVC discounts (and it may be a little out of date), but it will give you a good, general idea of what may be available.

You will get a complete list when you check in to your DVC resort. That list should include everything available for your stay. However IIRC, it makes no mention of the 25% Member discount on DVC rooms. Learned about that here on the DIS!
