Salem's Lot and Trilogy of Terror were good ones. I would love to see some of the others! Just their titles sound intriguing.

There's always the SyFy movies too. There are amazingly funny ridiculous movies out there that came from that network.

"when michael calls"

creepy-i remember the voice going "auntie my own, auntie my own".

anyone remember "killer bees"? (the one from the 70's)

my 7th grade math teacher who was a very serious woman was in the movie because one of the scenes was in a church and they needed a church organist the church would allow to touch let alone play the organ.

poor woman-after it aired, if a bee flew into the classroom we would disolve into faked shrieks of terror:rotfl: she would get after us and we would start saying the advertisement tag line for the movie in unison (it was something like-"them's not normal bees them's KILLERS":scared1::rotfl::rotfl:

This House Possessed. A classic cheese-fest!

Ha, totally forgot this movie, loved it!!!

When a Stranger Calls is an awesome movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much better than that stupid remake.
I remember watching Are You in the House alone too.
Salems Lot, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, creeps me out just thinking about it!

I love scary movies!!!

Not exactly horror but "scary" none the less, does anybody remember disneys Mr. Boogedy and Bride of Boogedy? I LOVED them and now when I see them they are so hoaky but they were top faves as a kid.

Great list! Esp Trilogy of Terror and Bad Ronald...though Bad Ronal was more of a really sad movie to me. I disliked the snobby kids and sympathized with poor Ronald :guilty:

But I would also include "Don't be Afraid of the Dark". I think those horrific lttle creatures are the reason I started to make sure my hands and feet were always safely tucked in bed! :scared1:

:thumbsup2 My favorite TV movie of all time! I didn't include it on this list, because there was a whole other post dedicated to it. I am totally boycotting the remake. Of course, I say this now, but I know I will feel some small compulsion to see it. Hollywood will manage to ruin it somehow, though, just as they've ruined every horror movie remake/re-vamp/new version.

Trilogy of Terror! I watched this for the first time this summer. When we stayed at AKL in August, I swear that the Zuni fetish doll was in the case at the end of our hall. I kept listening for the little footsteps.

Watched Burnt Offerings a couple of weeks ago. I had watched it as a child, but it is way better today than it was then!

"It." Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown STILL makes my skin crawl to this day. For a TV movie, this was one of the best.

I'm already considering the remake but also already hate that they made it a little girl. I didn't even know that some of these were made for tv. I don't think they do that anymore.

Oh, except scifi. Did yo usee that bad gator movie. Probably scarring 11 year olds everywhere.

Good call! Just thinking about him in that clown suit and that red wig and those teeth ... :scared1:
