OT - Wooden train suggestions.

Thanks everyone for your responses! I think I'm leaning toward the Brio sets. We have a set of their blocks, and I really like the quality. Plus, I like the track sets that they have available more. She doesn't know who Thomas is, that's just what the train tables that she's had access to are. I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this. DH and I....ahem, I mean Santa is going to have a blast setting this stuff up on Christmas Eve!

I managed to find some Brio on close-out, but really, the track from Target is much cheaper and just as nice. Ditto their roundhouse and other add-ons. I got my son everything including the table from the Imaginarium line and bought the Thomas trains separately. He was perfectly happy with it!

One thought: Invest in a storage option as this toy can take over your house in a matter of days! With the table this wasn't as much of a problem, but I got rid of the table when we moved and quickly found that a specific storage plan was a must. If you have room for one of those rolling drawers, that would be a good idea.
