Wii got Wii for the family last year for Christmas. We bought a couple games that never get touches. The two that is played with the most (by far) are Wii Sports (that it comes with, I am addicted to the bowling,) and Dance Dance Revolution. We bought that for our oldest to keep fit, turns out the youn ger 2 love it just as much (as do mom and dad!
)
I really debated Wii, but it was a great decision. We enjoy family nights of bowl-a-thons and dance offs. I do, however, suggest renting or borrowing games if you can, it is disapointing to have $50 games sitting and not being played. (My kids do like Carnival & Wii Play a good deal too, but it spurts, they play it for a while and then they don't for a while.) The nice thing is the 5 games they come with are really good and even if you can't buy more now, they probably won't tire of them before a b-day rolls around and they can get another. If I ranked them in order
1.Wii Sports (the one it comes with)
2. Wii DDR
3. Wii Play (plus it comes with an extra Wiimote) or Wii Carnival (tie I'd say)
