so, we recently upgraded our phones from the regular 'just make calls' to the awesome galaxy s2 phones...

now i'm trying to download apps not just for disneyland but also for everyday life, so my question to those of you with smartphones is...

what apps can't you live without in your everyday life? why do you like them and how much do you use them??

Do we have a moderator now? :confused3

For me, I dont really use the apps too much - except for facebook.:rotfl:

I only use FB and Instagram. I'd love to hear what apps are suggested though. I have seen a few other people on here talk about different Disney apps, but when I try to find them I can't :confused3.

Having said that, I'm not very good with my iPhone

I'd love to know about some fitness / health apps..Gotta find motivation somewhere ;)

I have well over 300+ apps  But don't use all of them obviously. But they are iphone so not sure which are available with an android.

But one's I use a lot of the time..

Bom Radar (really handy for those summer storms)
good Weather App
Instagram
Pinterest
twitter
facebook
skype
calculator (comes in VERY handy)
flight tracker
photobucket
google app
kindle
tune in radio (really cool, picks up every radio station in the world, including police radios!)
kitchen pro (handy for converting measurments etc)
coles, woolies, aldi
entertainment book (if you have one)
white and yellow pages
event cinemas
convertbot
xe converter
airtrain (if you catch the train)
I have a that time of month tracker (which oddly does come in very handy, cause I never remember when it last was)
draw something
i have heaps of games, supermarket mania, sally's spa, sallys salon, sallys studio, airport mania 2, jet set go, chocolate frenzy, sunday lawn to name just a few of my addictions.
I like to have a packing list too

So that is just a few of my many many apps (a lot of those are free ones) :thumbsup2

woah. that's awesome. i think i need the draw something app and the instagram app and a few disney ones at this stage. problem is finding a good disney app :) also since we'll be in disneyland not the world.. finding an app specifically for disneyland :)

Daily I use

Gmail
Facebook
Twitter
Instagram

Ones I also love
Skype
Viber - free calls and messages
IMDB
Youtube
XE - I did use this everyday in the lead up to my trip

can I add the trip it app, was so good when I was traveling as well as trip advisor and hotels.com

I could change things as I was going, and always had my whole itinerary on hand

Well, I can't get by without my Words With Friends..!!!

Plus I have some others:
For Disneyland - DL Waits and MouseWait - both have wait times at DL. Not sure how accurate they are, but I check them every so often and wish I was there...!!! :rotfl2:
And there is an Undercover Tourist app for WDW, too.
Ship Mate for DCL cruises (and others).
For fitness I have apps called Arm workout, Butt workout, Leg workout, Ab workout, Workouts, and Cardio! All are free - and as I am sooooo fit (hahahaha :rotfl:) - I have never used them!!!! But I have looked at them - good for travelling, I think!
Good app called BeanHunter - finds the closest coffee shop to your location (in Aust), and most are "rated" as well.
Viber - similar to Skype - free phone calls and SMS's over wi-fi to other Viber users.
Plus various shopping ones (Myer, Woolies etc), BOM radar, and various games as well.
Oh - and if you like emoticons (:woohoo::cloud9::laughing:), Emoji is a good one - you can add emoticons to all your texts etc.
That covers me off at the moment - but I am but a mere novice with my iPhone!! But I do love what it can do!!
I will keep my eye one this - always looking for apps!!!
