OT- Wheaton Terriers

I am heavily considering adopting a wheaten terrier when I come back from my internship and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them or knows of someone who has experience with them.

Also, does any one know if they are good with handicapped children? I have a 17 year old handicapped sister who crawls around on the floor, though she is walking more.

So...any information/tips?

We owned a Wheaton a few years back. She was terrific. She kept her puppy-like exuberance her whole life. The breed is non-shedding which is great but can have ear problems so you need to take care to keep them clean and dry. We had a female and her temperment was terrific with kids of all ages. We also had a neighbor who owned a male who was a bit bigger, not as friendly, and could be nippy. I would recommend a female.
