Hello fellow Reward Programmers! I posted this on the budget board, but decided to also post it here to see what you think. We're still working on the RPs too... Have a great day!
I am a stay at home mom (who works a few hours a week) and my DH owns his own business. Sometimes there is a lot of work for him and sometimes there is not. He recently picked up a part time job where he gets paid daily and that has been a help to us. (And who would have thought that you could make $100 just for helping someone else out? )
Because we got such a great rate at the Courtyard by Marriot in DTD, we decided to make a return trip to WDW this year. We have been saving change, eBaying, and using our advance tax credit for WDW. However, we have been trying to think of ways to earn extra money to make the trip even more memorable for our little girls.
Which leads to my question...Has anybody ever had a fundraiser to help pay for their trip to WDW? If so, which ones have you done? I know that the company I work for has a fundraising brochure with several different items to choose from. I thought about sending a copy of the brochure to several of my family members and friends with a letter asking for their help. They could purchase the items, and we could make some money for our trip in late September.
Please tell me what you think. Thank you!
