OT-What are your New Year's Eve traditions/plans?

I have to work during the day
We will be spending a quiet night at home with the kids, I think. There isn't much going on around us that is kid friendly. I'm kind of bummed.

What are your plans for NYE?

No matter what your doing, I hope everyone has a happy and healthy new year!

Depends on the weather. We live near Boston, so if there are ice sculptures on the Common this year, we'll probably pop in and see them during the day, as well as the holiday train display at South Station.

No big evening plans. I've been meaning for a couple of years to do a time warp party with friends and their kids - you know, change all the clocks and have "midnight" at about 7:00 - but I get so busy with Christmas, I've never gotten around to planning it.

If you're looking for a quiet family evening project, you could all write down your favorite memories from 2007, and seal them in a box to open next new year's (or ten years from now or something).

I always have to work ! But I usually make it home just in time to walk around the corner and watch the fire works on the strip with my DH and DD.
This year DD is having a slumber party with three of her friends. DH and DSL are going to supervise until I can get home. It should be alot of fun !

My DH and I have two DS 10 and 7. We always spend the night at home and watch the ball drop in Times Square(not sure if they still call it Dick Clark's rocking eve, but that is what we have on. Sometimes the kids make it to midnight rather than the adults ). My mom and dad will be coming over also to join us. We have lots of munchies and just hang out. No big plans, but that is way I like it sometimes!!!!
