Ot- What are you reading?

I love series that follow the main character over several books.

I read one from one series, then off to another and I rotate them.

I read the books from Cathy Reichs (they made the show Bones about that character Temperance Brennan)

I read Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series. (The early books are great but lately.....Urg)

I read the Dan Brown books (I only seem to like the ones with Robert Langdon. His other stuff was too out there even for me.)

I really like the Janet Evanovich series about Stephanie Plum....Funny.

I LOVE the James Patterson series with the main Character ALEX CROSS (Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girls, etc etc) they have all been good.

The Twighlight series....Just finished Eclipse and will only read the last book next winter.


The Harry Potter series. I have yet to read the last book.

I really want to get Bitten and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but I am worried that I will get too many series going to ever keep up.

If you like Patterson, try John Sandford, he is very similar. Sandford writes the Prey series, with the main character Lucas Davenport being a cop. He has also started another series with Virgil Flowers, another cop, as the main character.

Steve Berry is alot like Dan Brown, with his main character Cotton Malone (a former Secret Agent, current Book Store owner) being a symbalist.

DW bought me the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but I haven't read it yet.

THAT. Is an awesome book. I browsed through it at the store and plan on getting it soon. Been wanting it since it came out. I love the stickers that are included

If you like Twilight, you should try reading the Anita Blake series. Highly recommended by a friend of mine that is also into vampires.

My sister is reading the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. She's really liking it so far.

I actually just took out a bunch of small classics from my library to read. Surprisingly, I've never read these.

I've just finished the Hunchback of Notredame. On my list is:
Little Women
Oliver Twist
Tom Sawyer
1984
Huckleberry Finn

I still have a copy of Airman by Eoin Colfer that I haven't had time to get to

Just finished Four Fires by Bryce Courtenay, I have read all of his works,
my second favourite author is Wilber Smith, just wish he would hurry up and write another book, getting tired of reading my sons books! Altho Percy Jackson and Bobby Pendragon are much better than you would think due to the fact they are written for tweens/teenage boys.....
