OT: WDW Radio - Thoughts and Prayers

I don't know if anyone else here listens to the WDW Radio podcast or is a fan of Lou Mongello's WDW trivia books, but he lost his father today. This is such a supportive group, and I know he could use some well wishes during such a tough time.

(Please don't yell at me for listening to other podcasts. The Dis is by far my favorite, but I need something else to listen to for the other 38 hours of work a week.)

My thoughts are with the Mongello Family. Lou's Podcast was one of the first that I stumbled upon when I first started listening to PodCasts and, while I have not listened in a long time, I enjoyed it. I also remember his kind words when Bob passed.

Glad you brought his father's passing to our attention.

I have been keeping up to date on Facebook, too. Prayers to the Mongello family.

As I understand it his father has been sick and in the hospital for a while. Lou was doing a LOT of back and forth from Orlando and NJ, and still getting the podcast out and everything.

He may have Briar Rose-colored glasses, but he is a genuine fan. I ran into him at SWW last year while he was walking by, and he stopped and talked for a few minutes. My DD recognized him from the SWW video he put out a week before.

So sorry to hear this. I knew his father wasn't well. Still, Lou kept getting his podcast out, editing and posting from the hospital. "Lou! Tend to your family", I wrote to him. We can wait.


I am glad he was able to spend time with his father and had his podcast as a diversion.
