OT: Vent about this stupid weather!!!!

Well my 5 year old DS was supposed to take his first trip to the Circus tomorrow but thanks to mother nature messing with us AGAIN they have cancelled his trip for tomorrow and rescheduled it for SATURDAY!!!! So now since I was supposed to be a chaperone I had to call out from my PRN job on Saturday since he was crushed and wanted Mommy to go with him. Even the Kidnergartners are sick of Snow. I truely don't mind not getting snow EVER, but when the kids are sick of it you know we have had waayyyyy too much. ARGH, I'm so aggravated!

The snow was melting and grass (or mud ) was finally showing! They finally got ALL of our roads and sidewalks clear of snow yesterday! And now more tonight and tomorrow?!? I'm so tired of the snow, so are the kids... Well all except DS2. I can't wait for spring!

Spring will be here sooner or later. I don't ever remember a time when kids were sick of the snow - but this year - I really don't know anyone who is looking forward to more snow & more time off from school. At this rate - the kids may not get a summer vacation.

Sorry about the trip to the circus - but Sat. will be just as much fun - just remember they are little once. I remember once my ds's trip was cancelled due to rain and I had to take 2 days off instead of 1 for the same trip. (No-one wants to go to a farm & hayride in a heavy rain storm.)

You know it is a messed up winter when it has snowed in Houston Texas twice since December. We can go Decades without snow here.

Now Hurricanes....that is a whole diffrent game

Death to snow I'm supposed to go on a mini trip to FL on Friday and naturally the snow once again leaves me hanging in the balance. I will be pitching a fit if I don't get my mommy getaway (well, 1 kid with me but that's a vacay compared to with the 3 of them!).
