Did it suck or not? I'm getting mixed reviews and the $10 movie ticket could buy me a soda at Epcot. :rotfl:

I am a 58 year old grandmother...and took my 15 1/2 year old granddaughter to see it yesterday. Actually, I liked it. There are some scenes in it that are quite impressive. I thought the acting was quite good, too. The graphics aren't too "extreme" (sex & gore)but, tastefully done ...I liked the ending...It's obvious there is a possible sequal...:thumbsup2

I think I would have enjoyed it more with a different audience. The 13 year old girls sitting behind me that kept whispering "I'm so jealous" any time the male lead said something cute to the female lead was a little distracting. ;)

My granddaughter and I had some young teenagers sitting behind us, too. They were sooooo "into it"...They would "answer" the questions...and when they laughed at the funny parts...They REALLY laughed! :rotfl2:

My partner and I wanted to go see it this past weekend, but when we got to the theater and saw the throngs of 13 year old screaming girls, we opted for seeing Bolt instead.

Instead, we got a bunch of kids who talked through the film, parents who ignored their kids, kids wanting to go pee every five minutes, etc. You get the picture. I think I need to wait a few weeks before seeing it after the newness wears down.

I've heard both good and bad reviews of it, so I'm not quite sure what to think.

If you've read the books you'll be very happy, the film actually improves a few things from the book. Summit also announced it has green-lit New Moon, Twilights Sequel.
