I got the idea for DD from this board. She will get a bracelet and then a charm for each tooth.

I have a hard time coming up with something for my DS.
Any ideas?

Gosh I don't know. My son has lost 3 teeth in two days. He just gets money for his but a cool little toy might be fun. Oh who am I kidding, he likes money too much. :rotfl: I do like the idea though.

If he collects any type of sports cards - how about an album for storage and a pack of cards for each tooth (baseball cards, football, transformers, etc)

My kids just found out the truth about the tooth fairy about a month ago. They grow up so fast.

We have always given them coins from other countries or coins that are special in some way. They now have a nice coin collection that they love to show their friends. You can order coins at the bank if you think ahead.

We give a lego set and cash for the 1st tooth and then have done a book and a buck for each tooth after. Mine love to read so they like the new books for their collection more than anything.

My oldest just lost his first tooth. We got 'gold' dollar coins from the bank and gave him that and left a little fairy dust around with foot prints in it. :) He was quite impressed with his gold. ;)

The tooth fairy leaves gold dollars at our house too! Of course, when dd started sharing with her friends what she was getting (and they were all getting dollar bills) it was a little hard to explain.
