OT -- Today's the BIG day!! **UPDATE**

I know this isn't rewards related but I consider y'all my friends so I just had to share ....


My dad's wedding is today!!!! He's been alone so long and he finally found somebody who makes him really happy. It's funny to see them together, okay a little gross too but only because my dad has turned into "mushy" guy. It's going to be a small (104 guests) outdoor ceremony and recep at a pavillion in a park near here. Just last night I got all the flowers done, nothing like waiting until the last minute.

Anyhow, I'm soooo excited and I just wanted to share with my friends -- hope you all have a great weekend!!!

To answer odddog's question -- no I am not still hung over. Bummer huh? All they had was beer and wine -- yuck, I don't drink either. So it was Dr. Pepper all day for me.

It was supposed to rain all day but the pastor prayed for no rain and it didn't rain one bit! He said in all the years he's been doing outside weddings, which are his favorite, it has never rained. So the weather turned out beautiful.

Actually, everything turned out great. My dad was crying during the ceremony but I didn't realize that until we played the tape back and then I cried to see him cry. I have never before seen him cry. He said he only cried because his wife was crying -- yeah dad.

Thanks for all the good wishes -- my new "mom" & "aunt" (she has a sister) are super nice people. There's a nice of picture of my dad & me that my cousin took -- if/when I get my scanner up and running I'll post that in the "Show your face thread".
