sorry i dont know where to ask this question so move this thread if you need to... anyways i just purchased tickets from undercovertourist.... i was reading their FAQs and read this:

"The tickets are paper, should they be plastic?

That used to be the case, but it changed a few years ago, they are all paper now. Some tickets are plastic if you bought them from a theme park hotel along with your hotel reservation."

is this true? their tickets are paper? are ALL disney tickets paper now?

They are not actually paper but of some stuff called Tyvec?. Anyway this is the same material as the Annual Passes. If you order your regular tickets through Disney then they will be the credit card type.

I have gotten the so called "paper" tickets for the last 3 years and have never had a problem with them. You really can't rip them.

Yeah try not to worry about them too much. Make a photo copy of all your tickets backs and keep that copy safe on your trip, if you lost one, or destroyed one beyond recognition.

I think it's worth saving $10-$20 for a paper ticket over the hard plastic, if you do the Disney mail order.

Also note though, if you wait to the gate at Disney, it would be the paper ticket too just like UT.

ok just wanna make sure that the tickets wont get destroyed/ that i wont be the only one with a paper ticket!! haha i know a bit of exaggeration i know.. :)

All of us that have AP's are also on this type of paper as well. In all of my trips to WDW, I have yet to have one be destroyed - and that includes DS17 with accompanying friends!
