I think my 7 yr old has swimmers ear. Not the end of the world unless you are getting ready to turn 8 and you are having your birthday party at a pool in 3 days
I gave her some Tylenol for the night. I use to get it a lot when I was little and remember how painful it is. If it still hurts in the AM, I will take her to the dr for antibiotic ear drops.
I put some rubbing alcohol in her ear tonight to try and suck out any water that might still be in there. Maybe we will get lucky and be painfree tomorrow. If not, I need to try to find her an ear plug for swimming - who sells them? Target/Walmart??
I can't imagine her sitting out while all her friends swim
Yes, I know she will survive if she can't go underwater but would rather avoid it if an ear plug can be found and would work.
Thanks
