Oh Bother (as Pooh would say)....
This almost went to page 2

, before I saw it. Yes this was a very exhausting week. But when I went into my first drug store account, it all came back to me... It sure doesn't seem like 12yrs ago that I did this. Its really strange to be walking back into my old accounts, selling different stuff to all these new cosmeticians. Very weird.
As I told you, I was covering this position as a mat. leave coverage...well Susan the girl I was working with is due April 13 but I when I met up with her Thursday morning she says "I don't mean to alarm you BUT I think I might be in labour"
So we only did 2 of our 5 scheduled calls and after the second one, I took matters into my own hands and made her go home...I followed her to her house, got her some lunch (didn't want her to starve until AFTER having her baby like they do to you at the hospital

). I take everything from her house that I need for the next year and she calls, her husband, the hospital and our boss to let them know whats going on. Hospital doesn't think she's in labour but to check in with then in 2 hours. So I get myself out of there

as fast as possible, cause I have NO clue how to delivery a baby. Then I get a call from her at 7:30am on Friday morning: "Yes we're working together today...no the baby didn't come last night"---

I waited silently waiting to hear if she was going to say April Fools or what and then I asked "seriously are you ok to work today?" So yes we worked together and so ended my first week of work!
Next week- I get to work with my boss

but I think I passed THE test last week!
