Hey everyone!!!
We are finally home and our princess is here.
No offense to anyone but I don't put the kids names or pics on the internet. But here are her stats.
She was born at 12:24pm on March 7th. She weighed in at 8lb 9 oz which was way bigger than any of the boys. I went in on Monday to start the pitocin which didn't take hold so they started it again Tuesday. The Dr. broke my water at 9:30am and things started rockin.
I went from 2 cm to 6 cm in about 1 hour so I ordered an epidural. Well the woman rambled on forever and about the time she swabbed my back I was at 9cm, to late for the epidural. So needless to say we went with no drugs. I do not recommend this at all!!!
Delivery was smooth but that night was not so hot. I will not give you all the gory details but the nurses said it looked like a scene from CSI. It was pretty scary and I was alone, DH had gone home for the night. Thank god for my nurses. The one I had that night happened to be the same nurse I had when DS4 was born. Of course she yelled at me the next day for giving her a few more grey hairs but hey, she'll never forget me.
We are all glad that everyone is home and healthy. The boys are loving their little sister, except when she cries. So off to get some sleep and then straighten up the house. It figures that the dishes didn't even get done.
