I know this is very off topic, but I remember a few people on this board mentioning that they liked the show Flipping Out. Just in case you haven't heard, the season 3 premiere is on Bravo tonight at 10/9c and will re-run multiple times after, so get your DVR's set! :thumbsup2

~Simon :)

TiVo's set ... thanks for the reminder though!

I think I'm the only one on the boards now who doesn't have a DVR, so I will be watching as its on tonight! I LOVE that show.

"Dod you tell Monkey he was going to the vet?"

"No...he's a cat."

"Tell him now, while I'm on the phone."

"Monkey, you are going to see your psychiatrist."

"See? Isnt it better that he knows?"

How can you not love Flipping Out?

I love Flipping Out!

It's a train wreck on every episode. popcorn::

Jenni earns every penny Jeff pays her and then some.

I love Flipping Out!!! Whenever my family thinks I am being neurotic I just remind them of Jeff Lewis and it puts things back into perspective. :confused3:rotfl2:

I'm not sure this season will be very interesting due to the cold real estate market. Apparently, Jeff will be doing a lot more spec projects for clients (hopefully ones unlike the "lovely" Courtney...) which, as we all know, is not something he loves.

4 more hours! :)

Um, Jeff is planning his brother's wedding too this season! Yes, it will still be amazing!!

Kevin!!! I will be thinking of you when I watch!

To quote the Housewives, I love, love, love "Flipping Out"!! In fact, I think I watch more Bravo than any other channel: Housewives, Top Chef...they have such great shows!

He has an assistant that has to play iPhone checkers and win before he gets out of bed.

I'm in.

I'll admit it, that was pretty darn cool. :thumbsup2

Just wondering, if he says he's doing so bad money-wise, why on earth does he still have such a big crew of assistants, live in Valley Oak (probably a $6,500/month mortgage,) drive a new Mercedes (didn't he have 2 new ones last year?,) and do unnecessary renovations to his house? All in all, he probably spends $20,000/month in fixed expenses for himself and his business, but is he honestly making that much considering the climate of the real estate market and what people are willing to pay him to do design work in this economy? :confused3

Thanks for the reminder...I LOVE this show....I actually had a boss(for a very short while) that reminded me of Jeff...LOL

I've never heard of this show before. What is it?

It is a show about a real estate guy in CA with severe OCD (and a few other mental quirks) who buys, remodels and flips houses....

he goes thru office staff like water - partly because he expects them to be his personal servants and do things like clean up after his pets and stock his fridge - with bottles all facing in the same direction!!!

His "maid/housekeeper" is hysterical - she is the only one who actually talks back to him and gets away with it.

give it a watch...I bet you get hooked

I've never heard of this show before. What is it?

Flipping Out at 10pm on Tuesday on Bravo.

Like all Bravo shows...they show it numerous times each week.

This show has no real redeeming feature other then being entertaining.

It might take a while to get to know some of the back story, as this is the third season......but I think if you try it....you'll be hooked.

Again...this isnt Masterpiece Theater.

I don't know how Jenni puts up with him!! But I love Zoila! :rotfl2:

BTW, new Top Chef starts tonight and Project Runway starts tomorrow night!!

I was glad for the reminder because I watched last night. But I need someone to catch me up on what happened between Jenni and her husband last season. I caught the reference that he was going through Jeff's things - did he steal something?

Jeff suspected that Chris was slacking off so he installed a nanny cam in his office. He found that Chris was spending hours on end cruising the web, texting, and going through Jeff's finances, etc. He then fired Chris, who told Jenni he wanted a divorce.
