OT- SAGES 2 Test for Gifted Students

I have a quesiton about the "Screening Assessment for Gifted Students".
I was wondering if they considered the student's grade level at the time of the test or the students age.

My son's test scores were just under the range for giftedness and he was born at the end of December so he is the youngest in his class.

My DD8 was also assessed by the school board, and was also just under the giftedness score. They did tell me they take age, grade and maturity level into play.
