OT-rice krispie treats

How did you keep the m & m s from melting. I tried it this week and they completely melted. I did line the pan with sprinkles as someone else suggested and then sprinkled more on top and they didn't melt. That worked great by the way but the m & m's were history!

Maybe if you freeze them first (the "fried ice cream bar" method)?
