OT - Reports of my demise are premature, but....

it was close.
For those of you who don't know, last week I fell off a roof 14 feet onto a solid slab of concrete while at work. I landed on my left foot which then collapsed. I looked like one of those typical chalk outlines you see in a murder mystery movie or TV show. As I was falling into the kitchen of the cafeteria, those preparing the food were yelling "Call 9-1-1, Call 9-1-1."

I got my first ride in an ambulance. The doctors are amazed that I don't have a single broken bone --- only some bruises and some swelling. It truly is a miracle. TTFN. Dave

I thank all of you for your concern and well wishes.

I went to the doctor today and tried to get him to order some R&R at a certain Orlando destination, but he's grounded me. I was supposed to fly to Denver this weekend and that's cancelled as of today. (I probably wouldn't have enjoyed limping around Disney in pain anyway.)
So I guess I have to wait til March for the next Disney fix.
