I would like to make DD some hairclips for her hair similar to the ones that they sell at Gymboree. I am hoping to be able to make these for cheaper than buying them! DD loves to wear them and play with them :) I like the ones with the plastic clips the best. I have found some different sites that have directions for making them. However, I can not find the plain plastic clips anywear. I have found the aligator clips but I would rather make the plastic ones. I could only find one place that only sold to people who made purchases of $100 or more!

Does anyone know where I could purchase a large quantity of these for a low price? How about good quality ribbon with patterns?

I buy all of my supplies from ribbonsandbowsohmy.com and bellajoys.com.

Ribbonsandbows has the plastic clips in lots of 25 for around $1.

I have always been very pleased with their products and their service. Have fun!

I have not seen any plastic ones around but I am bow-challenged so I'll admit I haven't looked much. A great DISer, Teresa Joy, compiled a list for links to help boutique sewers and there are some great ribbon and bow ones there.
