First time Mom, so I have no idea. :confused3 DD is 22 months and we've been introducing the idea of the potty to her lately. We let her run bare all morning and she would say "poo-poo" about a second before she started peeing. So she recognizes the feeling. The last two times, she's given us enough warning to get her to the potty and we've heavily praised and rewarded her. Does this sound like she's ready to continue? We weren't really planning on it happening this quickly, but if she's ready, I won't complain. TIA!

Definately continue! It sounds like she is getting the concept. Just maintain consistency and don't go back. I liked using "training" pants in the beginning - thick cotton undies - they "soak up" most of the messes. We used pull-ups at night and naptimes, since those are times you can't as easily "train".

Just be prepared for up to a week of accidents and thinking she isn't ready, but then you will see it "click"!

Good luck and congratulations on getting started before 2!:woohoo:
