OT pls: Facebook question

Because y'all know everything and I need to know before my kids on FB get home . . .

How do I set my settings so my email address doesn't show?
Its probably simple but I don't see it

Click on your name so that you are on your own wall. Click update info. Contact info is on the right side of that screen, so you click the "pen" to edit info. Once there, click on the icon to change. (thanks, I've changed my email privacy)

Thank you, but I don't even see the "Update Info" tab....?

When you're on the FB page, go to the upper right and click your name. This brings you to your home page/wall. Once there, right below your name is "edit profile". Click on it and you can edit everything, including your privacy settings (which is underneath the profile list on the left side when you click "edit profile").

I can get to my privacy settings from the top right drop down, but under privacy settings, I don't see anything about email?

Yikes, am I that techno challenged??

My edit profile is between my name (with a gap) and activity log and it is in a very large font.

You click on the arrow pointing down (drop down) located in the upper right most part then click privacy settings. That is where you can edit your email and other private info from showing.
