Football: Manchester United, before I was married we used to have League Match Ticket Books and attended every home game (and a few away ones too) - then we were saving to get married and my ex OH was made redundant, they were the first things to go. Since then I've only been to a handful of games, pre-season or reserve.Emma, why 8pm?!
Everyone else, which teams do you support?

Ice Hockey: Manchester Phoenix, just got season tickets for them and we all (three children and I) enjoy going to every game we can. Have to admit ice hockey is my first love in sport now.
I was just looking at the questions to Emma's October quiz![]()
I was going to have a go and take part but after looking at Day 4's I completely changed my mind.![]()
I am sure I remember Emma saying it would be easy![]()
Im waiting for the rest of the quiz answers to be posted - some of them really got me towards the end so I want to see what was probably right in front of my eyes
OK, not talking to you nowI support Leeds! I've been to a few ice hockey games at Bradford when I lived in Leeds, I loved watching ice hockey.
I'm waiting on those as well, especially number 29, I left three out as I just couldn't work them out at all!
Well if I say that my DD2 is still a huge Alan Smith fan and has been since he played for Leeds will that help? Or will it make it worse in the fact that he came to play for us?OK, not talking to you nowI support Leeds! I stopped going to games when I moved to Northampton 10 years ago (oh and when they dropped out of the premiership!) Alan Smith is a good player though, your daughter made a good choice there!
I must admit I don't follow football much any more. However, one of the best things I did with mu kids at school was taking them to an England match. Our school has a professional womans footballer (she played for Scotland) to teach some of our PE lessons and to coach our team so we are an FA affiliated school. As such 5 years ago we were given 40 tickets to take our kids to an England V Mexico match at Pride Park, Derby. It was really cool!! Although my 11 year old girls ran off to try and find the team in the baths after the match and I had to run after them!!
We did a school trip to Old Trafford once too. We were studying Lowry so went to the art gallery at Salford, then did the back stage tour of Old Trafford in the afternoon as a surprise for the kids. They were most impressed (especially as they thought they were spending the day at an art gallery!!)
