I know it has been outlined in great detail about how to add a Florida based DVC contract to a trust, but has anyone here done that for a VGC contract?

We need to do that soon and would love to share some knowledge.

I would love to know, too. I went through half the process last year and put it in a trust with Disney, but I still haven't done the actual deed. I believe you have to go through a broker for that (or you can do it yourself if you are brave enough :)).

If you just let the broker/escrow agent know that you want to put it under your trust, they will handle it for you. You just have to tell them how you would title it exactly, which should be described in your trust documents (for real estate purchases). For ours it's like "Bill Jones and Nancy Smith, as Trustees, or any Secondary Trustee, of the Jones-Smith family trust under agreement dated 1-2-1989", but your lawyer may have recommended something different

Edit: wasn't clear if this was a new purchase or existing one, but above would be for a new purchase

I think you can put asset in a living trust, but you need to hire a living trust lawyer, or I suppose you could do one of the onlines. Then technically they need to change the deed to say living trust
