Im also a big fan of the Lion King show. I love the film as well - Id say its my favourite Disney film.

I could sit through the show again and again and again

So could I!! Now they are only going to have it on in high season and we can't afford to go then!!!:rotfl: life sucks!!;) :lmao:

I know - and you need shows to watch during Winter as its nice to go inside to sit down in the warm.

I love the Lion King too, can't believe we haven't got around to seeing it at DLRP yet. I've seen it 3 times in the West End though.

:goodvibes

My day started with a long long long LONG lie in, then we went into Barnsley town centre where we bought Monsters Inc and Mulan in the 'Buy one get one free' offer on Disney DVDs at the moment... Then went to Morrisons with Robert's folks to get some food for tonight, and I discovered Morrisons have some good deals on toileteries (Wash and Go- 83p!) so I stocked up.... Then came back here, had tea, and I now feel ill because Sharon had bought a super chocolately Thorntons cake, and I overindluged!! Now playing Samba De Amigo on the Dreamcast with Robert.... :goodvibes

How's everyone elses day been?

Would I recommend it? I've seen it 3 times! lol The 1st time we got to go back stage for a while (our interval drinks had been delivered to the wrong bar so they took us up some stairs back stage to get to the right place) and we walked through the wig stations! I walked very slowly!! The show is amazing. The performers come into the isles and the birds are flown on giant poles. The costumes are stunning.

It sounds fantastic- Id love to see it

One of the things I love about living here is the fact that we can go to London for the day to see a matinee then come home (I love the half price ticket booth on line!). It's great as DH and I love musical theatre.

Mmmmm Doughnuts (can you tell I'm watching the Simpsons movie!)
