I miss not living neat the coast. I grew up in Filey, near Scarborough on the East Coast.
I grew up on the West coast and miss the sea as well

Good evening everyone, how are we all?![]()
I went to uni in Aberystwyth and it was lovely to be 2 mins walk from the sea in my 2nd yearI miss not living neat the coast. I grew up in Filey, near Scarborough on the East Coast.
I would love a house overlooking the sea - I could sit and watch the waves for hours.
My dad retires on 20th October after spending the last 50 years at sea - he went to the fishing when he was 15 until 10 years ago and then went on the standby boats. He will miss the sea![]()
Hello everyone!! Excited as I have just booked TGV tickets to get us back to CDG - our trip is getting closer![]()

I love the sea, when I'm old lady I want a nice big bay window over looking the sea so I can watch it all day - by that age it will be too late to worry about flooding!
OMG, so i jsut looked up amble on a map!I do wish I lived near a slightly more visually pleasing bit of coast other than Amble.... If you know where to look it can be nice, but tourists are often disappointed....

That is NORTH! Like north north!!!
I would like to live in Tynemouth, overlooking the priory... I live too far inland now, suppose I'm only 10mins away from the quayside but its not quite the same!

Now you'll understand why I get slightly cross when people refer to Sheffield as 'The North of England'- Its a two and half hour train journey South for me!!!
