If that's the case, then I need to entrust somebody with asking the powers that be to link the old thread forward to the new one.

That's good then. The link forward needs the powers to be to do it because you can't edit your posts once the old thread is locked . So, you have to PM the address of the new thread to the powers that be, ask them very nicely to edit a post near the end of the old thread to add the link forward, then offer them a sacrifice of 1 DIS user with more than 1000 posts as a sign of respect

Or wemay complete a full one and be on another by the time you get back- I mean a 2nd new one

You sound as though you tried to edit one of our previous posts but couldnt - Im sure if you really wanted it done a mod would be able to do it for you

When we finished the first thread, I tried to edit my own post as it was near the end, in order to link forward. That's how I found I couldn't, so I asked Batman nicely to edit his post (the last in the thread) instead.
