Can I have a bit of sympathy? The Head called a staff meeting after school today. We've got our OFSTED inspection next week. Boo Hoo. Danauk and A Small World - you know what a headache this is! At least it's not next week - it's my daughter's first birthday!
We've go Camp Rock on too. They like to stick with a winning formula, don't they? The Jonas Brothers are a bit creepy.

OK Camp Rock was ok, but it just not HSM its too cheesy and its miming is very bad, worse than HSM lol.

I'm sure there will be a sequel.

I remember when i was at school (many years ago lol) and we have OFSTED in, I never seen my class be so well behaved lol.

I've got some really nice kids this year. One kid said I was his favourite teacher today. Bless. I just get nervous because it's awful having a stranger come and judge you on how well you do your job. I've been through it twice before so I'll just get on with it! I just wanted a few hug smilies. lol

We have similar things where we work and I agree - they're not pleasant. We have somebody come in and check that we (as a company) are following all the rules required for the accreditation that we have.

Sometimes, they come and ask non-senior people questions. Fortunately, I've never been asked, but it makes you nervous knowing they could.

There's a sense of hysteria too. People go into meltdown and cry in corners and hide in the loos. Terrible. I agree that we should be held accountable but it's not good for your mental wellbeing. It'll all be over this time next week.

Oh dear OFSTED poor you. I actually manage to avoid them - I did a few temp jobs for a while and managed to move on just before the visit (well planned or what ) however DH went through quite a few whilst he was teaching so I know the pressures and I also went through one as a governor. Im sure you'll be fine
