OMG:eek:  7.50??!!! How old is your youngest?

She is 14. At first when her school decided that they were going to start earlier everyone was up in arms, but actually it's not that bad. School finishes at 2pm and she is home by 2.40 (she has to get a bus which is provided free by the school)

Personally, that strikes me as a little early...

The early finish is nice, but I'm not a morning person, so would be yawning my way through the first couple of lessons, so probably wouldn't take that much in.

My daughter seems to manage ok, mind you she is in bed and asleep by 9 most nights.

Thats great news Brigette!

How is everyone this morning?

Isn't it just, some good news for a change.

I feel slightly better than i did this time yesterday, i think at this point i was running around tearing my hair out wondering what on earth i was going to do.

How are you this morning, not long now until you go :cool1:

I'm good just tired, Kyra woke up early crying because she saw a lady bird lol.

Just waiting for my euros to come today then i can decided if i can be bothered to go to the shops lol.

5 days to go!!! and more housework to get done in that time :lmao:

Ahhh bless her, my youngest(14) is terrified of spiders, she never used to be when she was younger. It seems to be something that has devolped over the last couple of years.

I live in a house that was built in Victorian times so there are millions of them. No sooner have i got rid of them than the little beggers are moving themselves back in.:lmao: :lmao:

That reminds me, i must get round to sorting mine out. I keep praying:worship: the rate might suddenly improve, like drastically.

Its gone up a bit since i got my first lot of euros 2 weeks ago, i'm taking 700E to spend, but hoping I don't actually spend it all!:lmao:

700E:scared1: :scared1:
I am taking around 450E if that, last time i went i allocated £150 a day for 2 of us. I came back with loads of Euros. I changed them all up to pay for my trip in 2 weeks time. Wish i hadn't now, the rate is just awful.

I'm only taking that much because I have booked all the main character meals and it adds up. Plus I'm getting Christmas presents etc while I'm out there aswell.

In our next trip in January I'm planning on taking about 400 euros.

I'm doing exactly the same!! Possibly going to leave it until the day before we go

We have budgeted for 100 euros a day, so we are taking 500 euros for the parks plus another 200 euros for tolls and petrol.

The good thing is now my daughter is 14 she no longer wants to buy loads and loads of stuff,in fact last time she only brought a couple of bits and pieces. Not that much for a teenager to buy!
My money mainly goes on food, drinks and snacks.

Just been on the Gatwick website to check to see if my friends flight is on time and there is an announcement on the homepage that BAA are to sell Gatwick.

My mum has brought me like 10 fruit shoots to take for Kyra, not sure where in the case they are going lol.

How is the situation regarding cases on the Eurostar now??
I know when i used it in 2002 with my mum and my girls it was a complete nightmare. There was just no spaces left to put anything, everyone who boarded in London had taken everthing. We ended up squeezing one here and one there. It was a joke.

I puts drinks etc in shoes, toliet bags. Split up the multipacks and they seem to take up less room :goodvibes

I've never had a problem fitting my cases in the luggage racks at the end, then again me and Kyra both have our own small cases this year so they can fit on the rack above the seats.

I think last time i even moved a few cases so i could fit my case in nicely.

 Yay my money has arrived and my phone (hope its working lol):cool1:

When we used it in 2004 it was brilliant. Loads of spaces everywhere when we got on in Ashford. Might depend on the time of year as we went in September and the train was only half full at the very most
