I actually finished an hour earlier then usual as I went in early for them. I thn had to do some shopping for my mum & I had something to eat when I got in a lovely hot rotiserie chicken sandwich followed by a cake ( i eat healthy can't you tell )

Fab news Rob about your trip, hopefully you get the extension too

Add me to the list of recommending NY, I really want to go back. i hoped to go this year & see Yankees Stadium before they move to the new one but that is most likely not to happen

Hi Nikki- not as healthy as me - I had a pot noodle at work tonight (to warm me up) and just had some cheese on toast

Just imagine that everybody in the audience is actually Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and all the other Disney characters and you'll be fine.

Alternatively, you could combine the above with the more traditional way of making talk giving easier, although DLRP may never quite be the same if you imagine that

I somehow dont think they would - especially as at the London one my Manager is going as a delegate

Don't forget, I demonstrated my software to 2 potential customer representatives using a picture of Winnie the Pooh, so I know all about doing things which lower the professional image

I actually told the the MD about it as well - told him he could have given me more warning

Nobody really laughed, but I didn't get told off, so I think they kind of saw the funny side of it.

I told some friends at work today about my current Dis posting obsession and the fact Id attended a few cyber parties recently - they thought it was really funny

I'm going to miss being able to DIS "live" when I go to Seattle - I'm going to have to go back to old fashioned discussion board type behaviour where I just respond to people and then hopefully they'll have responded by the time I log back on

yes.

I've seen the course schedule and it's not looking good. There may be a small window of opportunity at about midnight US time (8am uk time), but it can only be short, because I'll be tired.

Course hours are 8:30am - 9:00pm (4:30pm - 5:00am uk time).
