Hi UKStitch, sorry to interrupt but that is such a relief - I thought I was the only adult to know when Miley Cyrus' bithday was. I even know what her real name is and why she has finally changed it to Miley. Wikipedia is my friend too.

You're not interrupting anything, you've just picked up on one of the many ongoing conversations in here

I have to admit, I don't usually know it, I just had a recollection of her party at Disneyland being before her real birthday, so I checked wikipedia (as I always do).

I have been known to spend an awful lot of time surfing wikipedia though, reading from one topic to another, follow all sorts of odd tangents

No, according to our mutual friend, her real name is Destiny Hope and she was exceptionally smiley as a baby, and was nicknamed smiley-miley...I can't believe that two adults are having this conversation. Anyway, that's about all I know - which I realise is probably a little too much.

It's a very common thing for me - comes up a lot at Quaker conferences as well. That's even more tricky at times though, because you sometimes get about 6 - 8 small groups of 6 - 8 people all gathered together in little circles in the same room. In that case, what's said in your small group circle stays in your small group circle, so it's hard when you're so close to other groups
