OT: Ozark Mountains

My DH and I are thinking of going to the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. This will be our first "real" trip with our new 5th wheel. Anyone ever been there? Are there lots of things to do? Any info you can provide would be helpful...

The family and I stayed at a "Dude" Ranch in Mountain Home Arkansas about 10 years ago. I think it was called Scott Valley Ranch. We stayed about a week and had a wonderful time. The only time we ventured off, we took a canoe ride down one of the local rivers and visited one of the local Caverns. I remember it all being so beautiful. The locals there were some of the nicest people we have run into on this planet. Sorry I do not remember the names of the caverns or the river.

Check out Mountain View or Mountain Home, I cannot remember which town but they come out onto the City Square in the evening and play Blue Grass free. Even around the square the people come out onto their front porches and play. Great if you like Bluegrass Music. It is not far from Eureka Springs.
