How crappy is this. My little guy (3) has a head cold. We leave tomorrow night at 3 am for the airport to Disney. I have 2 vapo plugs and a cool mist humidifier going. Anyone know any get better fast tricks I can pull. I am just so stinking upset for him.

You know the drill, push lots of fluids, take his meds, and rest. Plus he's got the best nurse around (his mommy). I hope Ethan is feeling better real soon and hope you have a great time on your trip.

I have no advice but wish a speedy recovery.

Maybe some of this will help.....

I am not sure they make kid versions but I have heard great things about Cold-Eze and how it cuts a cold time in half.

So sorry! Maybe the warmer weather will make it a little easier???

Oh no, hope he's feeling better by the time you leave. At least you can go prepared. My youngest developed the worst dry cough on day 2 of our trip once. I couldn't find anything at WDW that would quiet it. We had to go off property to find cough medicine. So bring your own& be prepared! The other thought is whenever my kids flew with a cold I gave them Benadryl. It clears the liquid from the ear canal. You don't want that screaming pain on the flight. And as you mentioned lots of fluids and ooo do they still make cold medicine lollipops?

Sending you lottsa pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:and hoping it'll pass quicklypixiedust:

I wonder if Claritin does the same thing as Benedryl that is what the doc told me to give him. Hmmmm. I did put vicks on his feet like someone on my mom board suggested and it helped a bit. 15 more hours till we leave. Whooo hooo.

Kids bounceback from illnesses pretty quick -- hopefully your little guy will be A-O-K for your visit. Best wishes! :goodvibes

Oh no! I hope your kid will get better soon. Like some have already mentioned here, give him plenty of fluids, have him sleep in longer, etc.

One time I went to DLR and had a small cold, but lucky for me it was just a stuffy nose and some coughing here and there.

Quick, use this! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:
