Is your daughter on a educational trip or going with family/friends? My colleague's daughter has just gone to South Africa for 2 weeks on a Year 13 trip. When she went for her jabs her doctor told her she was lucky - he never got more than a trip to Whipsnade Zoo - true say!

She's going with her college so it's art galleries in the morning, the rest is free time. I am sooooo envious. She had the choice of Barcelona or New York ~ the only trip I remember going on from school was a day trip to Marwell Zoo!

Sorry to hear about your dog, Nikki we nearly lost one of ours last month but luckily she seems to be on the mend now.

Hope you have a wonderful time in New York.

Oh no my eldest DD is off there first week in March, she was really looking forward to going there.

Thanks Had a fab time. The new Disney store is opening in the Fall this year. We found an Outlet that had a Disney store, its about an hour from NYC by bus.

Your daughter will over it, we had loads of snow but they keep the paths & roads clear. I will upload some photos later

Thanks guys. DH seems almost relieved, it's a bit wierd, but he hated his job and being an accountant. I can't help worrying about the financial side but he's lucky enough to get a good payoff so we have a few months' cushion.
