Just down the road from where I was born. I was born in Workington and lived in Whitehaven until I went off to Uni

True to your name Small World!!

My cousin lives in Branthwaite nr Workington, my Aunt in Dearham. We used to go back every school holiday so I know Workington & Whitehaven pretty well! Wait till I tell my Dad! :goodvibes

I always forget that I lived in Altrincham as a baby, it is the address listed on my birth certificate.:rotfl: Though I have lived where I live now since I was a baby so I always forget. (not the same house though)

Yes what a small world :rotfl:

Morning all :)

I've got loads of housework to do today and then off to work this evening :sad2:

Going to look around the local car boot soon and then off to Mum's for regular Sunday roast - Yum!!
Just transferring video from our trip in July to the laptop - seems so long ago now!

We're going to the Carvery for lunch - it was DHs birthday yesterday and we had a chinese takeaway in the evening. We ended up so stuffed none of us wanted any birthday cake and Ive a feeling it will be the same again today after lunch.

Sounds lovely, have a great time.

morning all

i hope i can talk my mam into making her roast potatoes. nobody makes them like she does. i could leave the rest of the sunday dinner as long as i get my roasties lol.

we've been to Delamere forest today, let dd jump in mud in her new wellie boots.

I'm from Cheshire too. During the ice hockey season (starts again next Sunday!) we are at Altrincham every week.

Altrincham is not under cheshire council so I always find it strange that it is in cheshire and stockport too.:confused3

Evening! :goodvibes

Well, I got to use my shareholder's card!! I wanted to get a princess dress for DD to wear to Auberge so she insisted that it had to be Cinderella - I wanted to get the Belle one as it was beautiful! princess: photos in my pre-trip report if you're curious...

Also got a Minnie Mouse jacket for her - with ears on the hood! A little Jasmine doll for Christmas (or maybe our train ride to Paris!!) and some new princess pants to celebrate the successful potty training. :cheer2:

Was a little disappointed though as I wanted to get something for me and there was no adult clothing at all! Rubbish! Does anyone know if there are any nice fleeces in DLRP for adults? Also, no Toy Story 2. :sad2:

Good Morning everyone

Im back at work today after my week off. So off soon to see how many Emails I have - it usually takes me all morning to plough through them. Ive already listened to my voicemails - all 11 of them - and read my texts so need to deal with all them as well when I get in

See you all this evening

DD's first day of school today, and DS is moving up to the juniors. All a bit scary!
